The “2021 ESG Management Award ceremony and Best Practice Presentation”, jointly hosted by National Assembly Member Kim Ju-yeong and the Institute of Thanks Sharing (Director Jegal jeong-woong), was held at the main conference room of the National Assembly Hall on Dec. 15.

The goal of the ESG Management Awards ceremony is to revitalize and encourage ESG management, which is essential for future corporate activities.

In the 2021 awards, divided into the large enterprise and SME sections, DongHwa Entec Chairman Kim Kang-hee was chosen in the ESG management CEO category, based on scores resulting from analysis of nine environmental indexes, based on sustainability reports issued by listed companies, as well as 12 social indexes and nine corporate governance indexes.

The Institute of Thanks Sharing announced, “According to the Korean mythology, Hwanwoong, the son of God, bear and tiger all wanted to live in human society without confrontation.

The ultimate image of ESG is to put humanitarianism into practice.

We hold the awards ceremony to encourage companies to transform from performance-oriented and “work”-focused to “human”-focused."
