DongHwa Entec’s in-house volunteer group “DO DREAM”(‘knocking’ in Korean) visited Busan Briquette Bank on Dec. 15(Wed) to carry out the “Warm World Energy Welfare Sharing” initiative.

It was the first donation event to be held after the launch of “DO DREAM”as a new volunteer group; renamed from “Cheonsarang Society” to reflect our employees’ vision of fulfilling their dreams and mark the 41st anniversary of the group’s establishment in 2021.

A 8.25 million KRW donation (member contributions + company donation + individual contributions) collected from Aug. to Dec. in 2021 was delivered to Minister Gang Jeong-chil, representative of Busan Briquette Bank.

The funds will be spent on the Bank’s various social philanthropic activities, including energy donation, scholarship support, a youth center, rice bank, dining table community and local welfare campaigns.

The DO DREAM(knocking) operations team stated, “We feel very sorry not to be able to provide human-to-human services due to COVID-19. I hope to return to the days of in-person services as well as donations as soon as possible. We will continue to strive to share warmth with as many people as possible, and contribute to the local community through various volunteer activities.

” Minister and Busan Briquette Bank representative Gang Jeong-chil said, “Despite the difficulties brought by COVID-19 disabling face to face support, DongHwa Entec’s consistent support serves as the impetus for many of our neighbors, as well as Busan Briquette Bank, to overcome this hard time. We will spend this generous donation on initiatives that are heart-warming and rewarding.
