The company carried out development of its “mobile LNG liquefaction plant” in collaboration with public sector and industrial research institutes, including Busan local SME DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd., the Southeastern Regional HQ of the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, Korea Gas Technology Corporation and GS E&D Corporation.

The project was sponsored by the Key Engineering Technology Development Project of the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology, an affiliate organization of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, as well as Korea Gas Safety Corporation’s Gas Safety Research Institute and the Busan city government.

With increasing demand for small BOG re-liquefaction equipment, DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. has carried out various R&D applicable not only to ships but also land applications.

Development of the company’s technology, optimized for small quantity BOG disposal on land, has been proven by verification testing through four years of R&D efforts from 2017, sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

This assignment was conducted with the full support of both the central and local governments(Busan City).

The significance of the project meant that marketing activities had to be carried out in parallel from its early stage, with a distinct export focus.

For DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd., the successful development and trial of the land market-applicable PCHE holds great significance at a time when recognition and commercialization of PCHE technology are on the rise.

DongHwa Entec Co., Ltd. will remain steadfastly committed to R&D, focusing on development of products with immediate market uptake, in addition to continuous technological advancements.
